Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy (hereinafter the "Policy") is promulgated for the express purpose of delineating the limited circumstances under which Albury Education Academy (the "Organisation") deploys browser-based cookies on its online properties.
For purposes of interpretation herein, the term "Cookie" shall refer to a small textual identifier transmitted by the Organisation's server to the browser of the end user and stored thereon for the strict purposes detailed below.
The Organisation utilises a singular first-party Cookie for the sole and exclusive function of preserving an authentication token conferring administrative access rights upon duly authorised site administrators, and said Cookie shall not be interpreted as conferring any tracking capability upon the Organisation.
Such administrative authentication Cookie is a technical necessity integral to the maintenance of secure sessions and, notwithstanding any other provision of this Policy, shall not be repurposed, transferred, or disclosed to any external entity or used for marketing, profiling, or analytic activities.
In addition to the foregoing, the Organisation employs the Google reCAPTCHA service as a protective measure against spam and automated misuse of its interactive resources, whereby the said service may deploy a Cookie for the proper execution of its verification mechanisms.
Any Cookie set by Google reCAPTCHA is controlled and governed exclusively by Google's own terms, conditions, and privacy policies, and the Organisation disclaims any responsibility or liability for the collection, processing, or retention of data arising therefrom.
Except for the administrative authentication Cookie described herein and the Cookie associated with Google reCAPTCHA, the Organisation neither places nor permits the placement of any additional Cookies, whether third-party or otherwise, upon the browsers of its users.
The Organisation explicitly disavows the utilisation of third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking Cookies, and any representation to the contrary shall be deemed null, void, and of no effect.
The provisions of this Policy may be amended from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes, and continued use of the Organisation's online properties following any such amendment shall constitute unequivocal acceptance of the Policy as so modified.
